Brian Leach, MD, Joins The Skin Surgery Center of Charleston

BRENTWOOD, TN (February 6, 2018) — QualDerm Partners, a company that creates market-leading dermatology practice partnerships through affiliations and de novo development, today announced the recent opening of The Skin Surgery Center of Charleston. The Charleston-based practice provides state-of-the-art skin cancer care to patients throughout the region. The practice is an affiliate of The Skin Surgery Center, which also has locations in North Carolina and Virginia. In 2014, The Skin Surgery Center affiliated with QualDerm.

“I’m excited to join with The Skin Surgery Center and QualDerm to expand South Carolinians’ access to high-quality dermatological care,” says Dr. Leach. “The leadership teams at both organizations have outstanding reputations and are known for keeping quality as the core focus of everything they do.”

Dr. Leach is a Fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon whose 24-year career includes both civilian and military medical experience. He previously served as an Associate Professor in the Departments of Dermatology/Dermatologic Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston. “Together with QualDerm, The Skin Surgery Center has been able to enhance our service offerings and expand patient access to care throughout the region,” says John Albertini, MD, The Skin Surgery Center. “Dr. Leach’s experience and dedication to providing patient-centric care perfectly align with our mission. We are eager to work with him to expand care in South Carolina.”

The Skin Surgery Center of Charleston is QualDerm’s first affiliated practice location in South Carolina. The company will provide the management support, guidance, and capital to expand the practice’s services and geographical reach.
