Jay L. Clarke, MHS, PA-C joined The Skin Surgery Center in August of 2017.  He attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies. His emphasis of study was aquatic biology and, after graduation, he worked with Kinnetic Laboratories, an oceanographic and environmental research firm in Santa Cruz California.

In 2000, he graduated from the Duke University School of Medicine, where he earned his Master of Health Science degree in the Physician Assistant program. He joined Carolina Mountain Dermatology, PA in 2004, and performs all dermatological services including dermatological disorders, biopsies, and surgery, as well as cosmetic procedures like dermal fillers and neurotoxins.

Jay is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the North Carolina Academy of Physicians Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
